General Conditions


Please note that an enquiry is not a booking. The reservation is only guaranteed once your credit card details have been deposited or the deposit has been received (see below).


Terms of payment

As a booking guarantee, please leave us your credit card details (number and expiry date only). Nothing will be charged to your card yet, we only need the data for security. If you prefer, you can instead pay a deposit of 50% of the booking value to the following account: IBAN: PT50 0010 0000 4903 5620 0010 5; SWIFT/BIC: BBPIPTPL; account holder: Galáxia do Girassol Lda. The rest can be paid at check-out (12 h at the latest) by credit card (no American Express) or in cash.


Check-in / Check-out

Our reception is not permanently manned. Please note that you can check in at the earliest at 15 h and at the latest by 20 h (or by arrangement). The apartment must be left by 12h at the latest on the day of departure.


Cancellation policy

Low and mid season: Cancellations up to 8 days before arrival are free of charge. Cancellations between 7 days and 1 day before arrival will be charged with 50%, no-shows with 100% of the booking value.
High season: Cancellations up to 30 days before arrival are free of charge. Cancellations between 29 and 8 days before arrival will be charged with 30%, later cancellations with 50%, no-show with 100% of the booking value.
For bookings for more than 3 flats in the same reservation, different cancellation conditions apply.



The maximum occupancy per apartment is two adults plus a maximum of two children up to 18 years (on prior request).



Pets are generally not allowed. Exceptions can only be made with our explicit permission.


Cleaning service

The apartments are cleaned every 2 days.


Swimming lake

We would like to point out that our swimming lake is not supervised. You use it at your own risk. Non-swimmers are not allowed to use the pool without a supervisor.
